Traveling around the 1,000-square miles of District 7 I am amazed at the history, the bounty and the beauty of our rural countryside. Farmers, past and present, love working their land, raising cattle, corn, hemp and many specialty products. All this while working full time jobs in our factories, our small businesses, our municipal offices. Kentuckians are incredibly hard working people, with dreams that the Commonwealth can grow and prosper. How do we accomplish those dreams? It’s critical to listen to our citizens. Where is their heart? Their hearts are invested in their communities, their neighbors and their families, taking care of each other and working together for the future.
