Driving north up Highway 127 at the break of day unveiled the beauty of central Kentucky. Yes, people were dashing to and fro on their way to work but as soon as I entered the open land north of Frankfort there was a sense of expectation as a new day opened. Starting with the Gallatin County Chamber of Commerce at 8 am, all the way through the Fiscal Court meeting at 8 pm, I met citizens who were charged up. A vision for the County of controlled economic development while preserving the rural landscape and small town charm that makes Gallatin County a jewel. Come to visit. There is so much in store for the new year.
